the Night Before Christmas (Beaders Version)
Tis the weeks before Christmas and all through the city,
Every beader is stringing to make projects pretty.
The stockings are hung, neatly beaded with care,
In hopes they’ll be filled with great FKB fare.
The children are nestled all snug in their beds,
Knowing Mom will be thrilled with new crystals and threads.
Ma Ma wants more seed beads and I long for a torch,
I have just the right place for it, here on the porch.
Down in the kitchen there arose such a clatter,
We ran down the stairs to see what was the matter.
With hammer in hand and bench block at her side,
Grandma’s tapping out silver without losing a stride.
We hope that the packages all wrapped up with care,
Will hold jewelry and findings and Czech beads to spare.
Semi-Precious beads stranded and C-Flex prepared,
Our treasures awaited their time to be bared.
And at the last minute,
If a gift we’ve forgot,
Flame Kissed Beads will have something,
To just hit the spot.
So now as the year quickly draws to an end,
May you find yourself healthy and surrounded with friends.
Many thanks for your patronage, we wish you good cheer,
A very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
