Description:
Class fee includes
Instruction, and all materials used during class time.
Participation limited to ages 16 and up. Class size limited to 7.
The student will be able to leave with any of the glass that is left
over from their class. This class is held over two concurrent
days and is 10 contact hours in total. Each student taking class
will be able to purchase bench time for up to 30 days after their class
at $6.00 per hour.
Beginning Lampwork class to include instruction on: safety, types and uses of glass, basic studio set up, annealing, basic shapes (round, bicone, tube), stringer work, construction of simple twisties, and surface decoration. Other topics will be covered as time permits. All classes are conducted in a lecture/demo/practice format. Each student will have their own Nortel Minor burner for use during class. Supplies: All materials needed in class are covered by the material fee. Discounts available with this class (see general information). Teacher: Kaleigh Price, Class Size and Ages: Cost of class is $175.00 plus a $20.00 material fee for a total of $196.35 with tax. Maximum size 6 participants ages 16+.
