The Flame work studio will be open for studio rental time at the same hours as the shop.

The studio is equipped with  8 lampworking workstations, including torches and tools.  Torches available are 6 minor burners by Nortel, one G.T.T. Lynx and one G.T.T Phantom.  Other equipment available are; a large capacity electric kiln with digital controller, a smaller electric kiln with manual controller, a tumbler, an oxygen/propane silver torch with assorted tools, sand blasting cabinet set up for glass sand blasting, a glass grinder, Morton work surfaces, a polisher with dust collector, 80mm mini combo mill, and assorted tools.  Supplies and Glass are available for purchase.  We carry Effreti (Morretti), Clear Morano, Borosilicate, & Bullseye glass rods.  We also carry Effreti, Borosilicate, and Bullseye dichroic glass strips.  We also have a large assortment of Bullseye flat glass for our glass fusing patrons.

Studio time is available to rent in one hour increments.  There is an hourly rate of $10.00 an hour for lampworking studio rental (or $80.00 for 10 hours for a prepaid studio card).  Only individuals who have had a beginning lampworking class, and can demonstrate competence in the use of lampworking equipment will be eligible to rent bench time.  Studio time will be available for those who can demonstrate competence in the use of the other studio equipment.  Please call ahead  to check on the availability of studio time. Torches may be used on a walk in basis if they have not been previously reserved.  Reservations required to use the G.T.T. Phantom or the G.T.T. Lynx.
